View Full Version : 09 Lazer Chassis/Caster, Camber
Why do they run so much caster on these cars?
Camber: R side = 4 1/2 (negative)
L side = 4 1/2 (positive)
Caster: R side = 6 1/2
L side = 3 1/2
Does it make a difference that the car is set up on jack stands when doing set up?

the 3 deg. split is by design to make the car have a left turn tendency. the 3.5/6.5 is mostly for stability. to get specifics i would call jim bernheisel, he can tell you why 717-865-6691
The car can be on jackstands when setting the front end IF the car is level is completely level and your suspension is at ride height. they actually make a stand for their cars that fits the chassis perfectly that is adjustable to level it. they also have a swedge rod kit to set the suspension at ride height as well.
