dirtworks questions

i have a question, i just purchased a dirtworks modified.. its suppossed to be an 06 dw-8 car.. the tag has a serial number of 2295.. should that give me info on the car? such as if its a dw8 or what.. also does anyone know where i can get setup sheets for dirtworks? any help would be appreciated..

The plate should state the model and serial number. Our plate said DW9 and the serial number.

If it is indeed chassis 2295, it is probably around an 05 or 06 and is probably a 9.

Are you sure it doesn't clearly say "DW9-2295", or something of the like? The true cars have the digits stamped, so it may be faint.

Like Travis said, mine has DW8-1627 on the DirtWorks name plate. The '8' is stamped into the tin and I think the 1627 is more painted, but I could be wrong. It's a 2000 DW-8.

I have their setup guide from back when it used to be on their website. If you can tell me whether it's a DW8 or DW9 and what sort of rear end you're running, I can re-type the sections that deal with your car and PM them to you.

One of these days I'm going to scan it in, but with a 1-week-old at my house I'm a little bit busy. ;)

Also, the DirtWorks guys are pretty helpful if you give them a call. I don't know why they don't still have their tech sheet on the website. The link's there, but it isn't working.
