Anyone know where to get easy, or do i have to get it directly from them?

Also do any others have trouble with it crumbling apart and clogging up the fuel filter? Happened to me over the weekend, not sure if its because i am running Alcohol or not.

Thanks, Krom.

Alcohol is bad for the foam.

The have a special foam just for alky. Make sure you get that or you will have the problem again.

Also if you dont want to spend the money for foam, wiffle balls will work.

Any of your local speed shops should be able to get the correct foam for you or you could call one of the bigger one's like Behrents at 877-372-2348.

We had a Rocket brand new in 06 and by the end of the year the foam had came apart and kept stopping up the filter. We used the black coricated(spelling?) pipe that you use for septic fill lines or gutter run offs. This pipe has the holes or slits in it. You have to cut one side long ways so you can get it into the cell. Just stack it in there long ways front to rear and you dont have to wrorry about it. That cell still has the same pipe in it today and runs great.

Fuel cell foam comes in a various types depending on what fuel you're using . Call the cell manufacturer and tell them what fuel you use . Some race fuels use oxygenates , and that can affect the foam . That's usually why you find it clogging your filter .
The foam is in the cell for safety , it's to help prevent an explosion in case of sudden impact on the fuel cell . All fuel cells should have the foam in them just for that reason .

Absolutely correct with your statement Mike. Additionally, anyone using gasoline should not be carrying 32 gallons of potentially explosive fuel. If on gas use a 22gal or smaller cell.
