3lbs rr bite full of fuel
1-3/4" rear stagger
ar tires
48.3 cross
52.6 left
58.3 rear

650 lf 600rf
225lr-175rr 250lb driver
700 2000 pull bar spring center hole on chassis
3" split j bar with 9" rear end at 5-1-4 on from
4 bars at shaw setup except lr bottom bar is 2nd hole from bottom
scaled full of fuel 30gal

not really sliding through the corners or spining the tires, just curious what some may do to eliminate this problem

Seems to me the RF spring is soft, along with low crossweight percentage and with a low jbar height on chassis, all this leans the car over excessively. JMO

I would swap your front springs and up your cross weight. It looks like you are not getting enough bite on the LR. I like to see about 80 LBS any less and I have the same problem.

Some cars like more some like less. I would start there though.

well i know when we had the front springs swaped the car was horrible......as was trying left side bite and cross...........not sure if we were just missing something when we put bite and cross into the car or what but with lr bite the car has no and i mean NO traction at all.

and like i stated the J bar is set at shaws baseline 5-1/4 up on the frame and 3 " split...when it gets slick i set it 1/2" lower on pinion

with the added bite, the car should have really tightened up on exit thus gaining drive. Are you sure you added left rear, and didnt take it away? (just asking, not assuming)

yep positive...........

does a guy have to pre index or trail the rr when bite is added so the car isn't so tight that its loose?

sounds to me like maybe try reducing your rear % & increase your left side %, run a 200 LR spring, & add your wedge as u need it. Is your car tight on corner entry JW?

no its not tight. i wish i knew what a tight racecar felt like! Talked to kevin and he wants me to try 30lb rr tonight and see what happens, as well as a few other changes but the major is the bite

Do u have good drive off the corner JW, i cant see how with a RR heavy setup. No disrespect but u sure your not driving it loose? All depends on the track surface to i guess.. we ran rr heavy one night by mistake and didnt do bad but that was two years ago

well the rr wasn't bad HOWEVER when i went out for there feature i made about 5 laps then there was a caution.........so i came in at took the chain completly off..........wow what a difference i couldn't break a tire loose if i wanted tooo however broke the j bar in two and bent a lot of stuff!

We have GRTs and both of them have chains on the right rear. Not a big deal from what I heard just used to help change shock/spring combos quicker
