Trying to loosen our car up in the heat a little in the center of the corner. Is there a difference between lower the Jbar at the frame and raising it on the pinion? I believe these are the same adjustment but wasnt sure if there were diff. side effects of each. Thanks in advance.

Yep, big difference. Adjusting on the pinion makes a bigger difference in handling versus adjusting on the frame. I adjust often on the pinion, very little on the frame, but you need a pinion mount that when you move the bar, the rearend location stays the same. (the slot is an arc)

If you raise the J-bar evenly, (same at both ends) it will not change handling except to loosen in center of corner. Raise bar= looser in center of turn. lower bar means tighter in center of turn. Changing angle affects other things. I hope that helps you.
