i got a 39 in. driveshaft with the car. it didn't have a yoke. i put a 6 in yoke on it. the man that use to run the car had a ballspline and mine is a standard bert. the yoke will only go in the tranny 4 in. and it bottoms out. what lenght shaft does a 2002 take? and how far in the bert should a yoke go? thanks dennis

Older Berts (& Brinns) did not have 6" of splines cut into the tail shaft. Some are splined 6", but 3/4" is out side of the housing. If it has 6" of splines, the yoke will stop 3/4" before it contacts the seal w/a 8" yoke.
Either purchase a new output shaft or have someone cut it down so you can have all the travel. Just make sure they end the cut on a taper.
Older Warrior lengths were/are. 36" Brinn, 38" Bert, 39" Ball-spline.
