Needing some input on whether or not I can run abump stop on an 05 masters. I have been told no and yes. What does everyone else think? I'm worried with the low frame rail its going to hit the ground.

We ran it back in 05 and 06 in a typical SMACK car at momentum type tracks with great success. Stop and goes not so much unless dead slick and smooth, even then it was inconsistent. Have to get the whole package deal though. Not as easy as doing just a bump stop for sure. Have to work on front end geometry and different spring combos. Can tell you that we got down to 250-275RF on a consistent basis without the bottoming frame rail gremlin known to that series of car. Good luck!!

call the builder that built the chassis:confused:

Sometimes we all decide to depend on the builders way too much. It is a car with basic geometry and physics all applying. The builder will tell you to stick with the set up sheets and adjust accordingly. There are several independent suspension and front end specialists who I would ask before calling Masters,
Rocket, Warrior, or Rayburn on questions outside the box. Remember, ,many builders got their start from copying others, and with help from outside sources. Just saying with a little tinkering, anything can be figured out. Figured out whether it will or wont work, depends on you.
