View Full Version : RR rotor rubbing overrail

Have been fighting a bad push all year. Finally found problems. Now going into corners much faster and harder. Problem, RR rotor rubbing overrail. Rearend is moving to the left a good 2 inches. Stack leaf both sides; RR leaf floated. How do I keep rearend in place? Panhard bar? Chain? Need ideas. Thanks.

How did you fix the push?? How close is your overrail to the axle at ride height? I gone 6 inchs on the RR and never hit yet, lol.

I found that where I was measuring to square rearend was not right. I ran a string across rear motor plate and then across rearend-had 1 5/8 inches lead in RR. Also, car had wrong drag link, which, when turning to left pulled right tie rod away from cross member approx. 3 inches. I'll have to measure but I think I have 5-6 inches between frame and axle tube. Rotor leaves mark 1-1 1/2 inches up on overrail. Was suggested to weld chain to frame and over to pumpkin leaving 1-1 1/2 inches of slack. I just don't know for sure how to fix.

Rearend tube to overrail only measured 4 1/2 inches. Got it raised up to 6 3/8 inches. Hope that fixes it.

With 2 inch blocks mine measures 7 inches. Maybe your axle slid over to the left some??
