Does anyone run a 16 volt battery and will a TFI dist hold up to 16 volts this is with no alternater 2300 ford

to run the Turbo Start 16V Racing Battery you MUST run the step down resistor to everything but the starter..part number 16VRES,they retail for $74.99,i have one ill sell,it was used for just a few races...$50 shipped to lower 48 states

you dont have to run the drop down resistor , most alternators puy out 16 volts i run one and never had a problem all the latwe model drivers run them and they too do not run the resistor how ever if you are worried they also make this battery with a third legg that is for the 12 volt acessories
