I had someone this weekend tell me the Side Bite was when the tired rolled on the sidewall and supposedly helped you. I wouldnt think that you would want drive the tire on the sidewall, seems like thats what the tread was designed for. Just mainly looking for what actually side bite is and how to make it better.

Side bite is the chassis causing the tire to dig in and stop the car from sliding. It has NOTHING to do with running on the sidewall and if you did get on the sidewall you would loose traction / sidebite.

If you get on the sidewall correctly, you can get a dirt 8" tire to grip like a 10" in theory.

Some old schoolers actually preferred a wheel that was wider than the tire, just for that reason

That's why you air down the RR when it goes dry
