building a car from scratch never ran a car always trucks

what spring rates do i need to start with

Struts do i get one 5.0 or tbird for right front heard rumors of both

semi banked 3/8 track dirt not clay

Springs: RR 150 LR 200 RF 750 LF I use OEM cut to height needed

Shocks: rear, napa part #94079

Struts: LF OEM 4 cyl. RF OEM mustang GT 5.0 strut.

Get a RF LCA from an 87-88 Tbird its a direct bolt on part.

This is exactly what I run on mine and it handles great, high or low line, dont matter.

If you haven't put cage in yet, stitch weld a piece of 2" box tube on top of the rocker box, from wheel well to wheel well, then weld cage posts and downtubes to this. Way better than welding plates to floor pan, if rules allow.

I run LF oem 4 cyl Replacement strut and a 600 lbs on the RF a 70/30 drag strut for the 5.0 fox body mustang and a 650lbs on the LR i run 150 lbs and a 125 lbs on RR with carerra 50/50 shocks on both

lf 500-650 rf 650 to 750 rr 100 to 150 lr 175 to 250 i would go with monroe blue struts and yellow shocks work really good pretty much what dirtman said to a T

u gotta run penske or qa-1 anything else is junk go coil over and u aint gotta worry about springs falling out.. 750# on the front??? on dirt must like plowin the dirt.

u get gears at teh junkyard thares bout 7-8 ratios u can get
