What a way to end the racing season, the Turkey Classic at Springfield Raceway was nothing short of some of the best racing of the year that I have seen for the year. With warm temperatures during the day and high 40's at night you could not get cold with the racing action taking place on the track.
Jerry Hoffman had the racing surface manicured to perfection, as Justin Wells said, "We had a once in a life time million dollar track to race on". The action on the track showed the work Hoffman put into the race track, thanks Jerry for a lot of great memories.
Driver's from 9 states showed up for the event, over 170 car's, a good crowd in the stands, and they also got a good hot dogs.
Well it officially over the 2010 season, I don't know about you but I had a blast, not only for this race but all of 2010. Thanks to all the tracks, racers, car owner's, sponsors, and of coarse the race fans here in the Missouri Kansas Area.
A special thanks to my boy Donnie 'Kick' Kraft for the help with the work at the Turkey Classic. Also I forgot to get the names of guy's doing the announcing at Springfield Raceway, some body tell me who they are, sorry guy's. Enjoy.
