With the MSD Pro Billet ready to run distributor, it's says I don't need an ignition box, but do I need a coil blaster with it? What does it do if I need one?

Well how do you plan to give that distributor any spark without a coil?

I've got spark now without a blaster coil. A blaster coil is different than a regular coil

a blaster coil is no different than a stock coil, accel super coil etc. some of the high end msd boxes require application specific coil, like the hvc boxes for example, however a standard rtr uses any standard coil, i have had great luck with the blaster ss, light and easy to mount
