putting together a sbc latemodel motor thats all cast iron, roller cam,dome pistons, 388ci on alcohol with peak rpm at 8200. whats the best choice, im looking at 220 motowns, 215 dart platinums and eq220 , let me know what you guys think or other reccomendations, thanks.

the best steel head is the 14 degree from rhs (used to be pro topline)

Large Port Bowtie Vortec...If using on a big bore(for example 4.155 or larger) I would reccomend O-ringing block

30 over 350 block is what were using, just want the best head for the money

in 05 we made 640 with a no roller 415 iron 23deg using a set of RONS !!! and didnt need 8200, stayed around 7600

Lg. port vortech is the best choice to me we made 590 hp on a 355 flat tappet on alky a 388 roller you should be able to get at least 610 hp on that. JMO
