Australian Jay Cardy Joins MSR Mafia; Launches New Website
Noranda, Western Australia (12/20/10) – Australian Super Late Model driver, Jay Cardy, and Lindsley Motorsports are the latest addition to the MSRMafia.com team and has launched a brand new website at www.JayCardy.com .
Jay hails from Noranda, Western Australia, Australia and competes in the Super Late Model division. For the 2010-2011 season Cardy is competing with the Australian Pro Dirt Car Late Model Series in his #52J Cardy Chassis/Draime Racing Engine Super Late Model. In 2012 Cardy will be moving to the United States to drive for Peter Lindsley and Lindsley Motorsports. The team will focus on the 2012 World of Outlaws title as well as several other crown jewel events.
Cardy last competed on Saturday, December 18th in a night filled with mixed emotions as Jay returned to action with the Pro Dirt Series at Perth Motorplex in Kwinana Beach, Western Australia. The night started well for the team with Jay setting the fastest lap time of the night with a 16.545 second lap. Cardy had a great race with full time American Late Model driver, Jeep Van Wormer, in the 2nd heat. However a crash early in the feature meant that the team was done early unable to continue and challenge for the win.
The team now has a few days off over Christmas and will next be in action at Bunbury Speedway in Bunbury, Western Australia on the December 26th. For more information, please visit www.BunburyCarClub.com.
