Richmond Raceway Announces All New Website as 2011 Season Quickly Approaches!

RICHMOND, KY (December 30, 2010)-With the 2011 season just around the corner, Richmond Raceway track promoters Joey and Tiffany Tackett are pleased to announce the release of a brand new online home.

The new website will still be located at www.richmond-raceway.net as in the past, but with a new look and several new features. The 2011 race schedule, an updated 2011 rulebook, and much can be found at this location.

Along with the continued partnership with Jeremy Shields and JumpStart Communications, Richmond Raceway has also teamed up with Grant Excavating for a complete overhaul of the racing surface. New clay over the entire track and the reconfiguration process to add consistent banking in the turns will begin in the spring prior to the start of racing.

The 2011 season will kick off with a Test and Tune Session for all classes on March 26. Weekly Racing Series action will be held on April 2, while the Late Models will not be on the racing card for that night, they are welcome for practice.

The stars of the Southern Regional Racing Series (S.R.R.S) will invade the Madison County facility on April 9 for the $3,000 Inaugural Frost Bite 40. The Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman, and Road Hogs will also be in competition. JumpStart Communications will award $100 cash to the fastest qualifier for the S.R.R.S Late Models that night.

Mayhem Motorsports and Richmond Raceway will have a booth at the 2nd Annual Kentucky Racers Swap Meet held at the Madison County Fair Grounds on January 22, 2011. Stop by to pick up any parts you may need to get ready for the upcoming season. Copies of the 2011 schedule and rulebook will be available. Officials will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
