What size master cylinder?

I am planning on redoing my brake system on my Mustang, and am thinking of going with a new after market master cylinder. I see there are 3 different bore sizes (3/4, 7/8 and 1in) and am wondering which would be best for my application.

The car is 2300lbs and I am currently running 3 wheel brakes with the power brake MC and no booster. I may go back to 4 wheel brakes if I don't like the feel of the 3 wheel.

id go with 7/8 up front and 3/4 in rear

I use the same setup as you, 4 wheel brakes will tighten the car going in to the turns. Never had a RF brake, never will! I wouldnt mess with it (IF the car handles the way it is setup now).

i guess it may be different on dirt...

either way id run twin MC's with a balance bar.
