Kyle Beard Opens 2011 at 20th Annual Ice Bowl
Trumann, AR (01/04/11) – Coming off a solid 2010 campaign, "The Silent Assassin" Kyle Beard is anxious to open his 2011 campaign behind the wheel of his #86 Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Samuels Performance Racing Engine Super Late Model in the 20th Annual Ice Bowl.
In 2010, Beard finished second in the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model standings and finished third in the PRO Dirt Car Series Super Late Model standings. Along the way he also claimed two feature wins and 24 top ten finishes.
With momentum in his corner, Beard will open the 2011 campaign this weekend, January 7th-9th, in the 20th Annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. In 2010, Beard qualified for his first ever Ice Bowl main event and went on to record a 15th place finish in the final rundown. Kyle has his sights set on a top five finish in this year's edition of the event, which will see Open Practice on Friday with time trials and heat race action on Saturday.
