2010 Southern All Stars Championship Awards Banquet, January 15th
Knoxville, TN (1-5-11) The 2010 Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series Championship Awards Banquet is coming up Saturday, January 15th 2011. It will be held at Ramsey’s Banquet Hall located inside the Days Inn just off Merchants Drive and I-75 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Two-time series champion Randy Weaver of Crossville, TN will be honored for his second straight series title along with 2010 runner-up and Rookie of the Year Scott Creel of Franklinton, LA. The Southern Gentleman Freddy Smith of Seymour, TN will be honored for third place, followed by fourth place finisher Doug Smith of Somerset, KY and Daniel Baggerly of Rural Retreat, VA who finished fifth in the final standings.
A reception will be held at 6pm with dinner served at 7pm immediately followed by the awards presentation. The cost is $25 per person and reservations must be made by calling or writing to the Southern All Stars using the info provided below.
In addition to the awards presentation, the series is expected to make several announcements with regards to the 2011 schedule, rules, format, etc.
Driver and sponsor invitations have been sent out but anyone wishing to attend the banquet should contact Series Director Brad Byrd at (865) 919-5550 or send reservation requests along with the number of people planning to attend and $25 per person to Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series, P.O.
