Chad Yantz is New Race Director for American Modified Series

Glasgow, KY-January 13, 2011- Officials with the American Modified Series are pleased to announce a new race director for the open-wheel warriors of the American Modified Series for the upcoming 2011 racing season, which will begin its sophomore season of promoting Open Wheel Modified racing.

Chad Yantz of Waynesburg, KY will serve as the new race director for the American Modified Series for 2011 race season. Yantz has many years of experience in the dirt racing motorsports industry, having worked a crew member on his father’s race team and also having been an official with the Battle of the Bluegrass Series. Most recently, Yantz, along with his wife Sarah, worked with Chad’s father, Larry, as the co-promoters of Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, KY and the track was named track of the year by the Battle of the Bluegrass Series on two different occasions during their promotional reign.

The series schedule for the upcoming 2011 racing season is currently being put together and should be released sometime in the next few weeks. The tour will once again present Open Wheel Modified racing competition under the auspices of the UMP DirtCar Modified rules and regulations.

The American Modified Series presents Open Wheel Modified racing throughout Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois under the banner of the UMP DirtCar organization.
