A check in with the crews who have worked the clay all day today confirms that Ocala Speedway will be in excellent condition for Sunday's huge "Battle Between the Coasts" featuring the top dirt late model racers in the nation. Ocala Speedway Media will be on site beginning early Sunday, posting updates from the track on the FloridaFlagstand.com message boards, and on the Ocala Speedway Facebook group. the race pays $8000 to the winner and is scheduled on the day off between the East Bay and Volusia Speedway late model events, drawing racers from both venues to make the short trip to Ocala. Gates will open at 4PM Sunday afternoon, with racing beginning at 7PM.
