Dewaine Hottinger Opens 2011 at 1st Annual Pelican 100
Russellville, Arkansas (02/22/11) – After a long, hard winter Dewaine Hottinger and Hott Motorsports are preparing to make their 2011 debut in the upcoming weekend's, 1st Annual Pelican 100 at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) in their #65 Hott Motorsports/Doug’s Electrical Services/Rocket/Kuntz & Co. Racing Engine Super Late Model.
Over the course of the winter, the team went through their Rocket chassis, making a few changes, and making sure that everything is set to roll. The team is also preparing for their first full season in several years with Kuntz & Co. Racing Engines, and couldn't be more excited about the possibilities. Finally, Hottinger will be debuting a brand new look, designed by New Vision Graphics, on his #65 entry in the season opener.
Hott Motorsports will crack the lid on the 2011 campaign this Thursday thru Saturday, February 24th-26th with the 1st Annual Pelican 100 at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana). The first ever, major Super Late Model special at the 1/4 mile oval has posted a $10,000 to win/$800 to start purse for the 100 lap event. The weekends gets underway with an Open Practice Session on Thursday night with time trials and heat race action on Friday night.
