2011 BAMA BASH a HUGE Success; Changes and Dates for 2012
The Green Valley Speedway staff would like to personally thank the fans and racers for making the 2011 BAMA BASH the most successful one to date. Your participation is greatly appreciated, and by popular demand some changes will be seen at the 15th Annual running of the event in 2012.
The first and most requested change for 2012 will see the event moved from a Thursday night through Sunday night event to a Wednesday night through Saturday night event. This change will allow racers and fans the opportunity to see some great night time racing action on Saturday night instead of having to wait until Sunday.
Also in 2012, the dates will see a minor adjustment. Open practice day for the 2012 BASH is scheduled for Wednesday night February 29th, with qualifying and preliminaries on Friday and Saturday March 1st & 2nd, and Feature Racing on Saturday night March 3rd.
More information will be released and added regarding the 2012 BAMA BASH in the coming months, and we hope to see everyone back at our remaining 2011 events. Our next event will be the 3rd Annual GVS Crate Nationals on March 24th-26th, 2011 which will be ran under a new format that includes three complete feature events for the Crate Late Models as well as action in the Sportsman/LLM, Outlaw Thunder, and a BIG event for the Kajun Mini Stock Association cars.
