The U.S. Race Gear Cincinnati Modified Championship presented by Gabbard's Mt. Orab Ford and B&B Auto Care is proud to announce it's point fund for 2011. The guaranteed point fund as of today will pay 1st $1000 2nd $400 3rd $300 4th $200 and 5th $100. Also there will be a $200 bonus to the 1st driver to win at all 4 tracks in the same year. In addition Lightning Chassis will give the highest finishing driver in a Lightning Chassis $500 towards products they manufactur. We would like to thank U.S. Race Gear, Gabbard's Mt. Orab Ford, B&B Auto Care, Diamond Race Cars, Fast Company and Lightning Chassis for making this possible. We hope to add to this fund as the season gets started.

To be eligible for this point fund a driver must be registered and run the CMC provided decals. Registration is FREE. To get a registration sheet email Shane@Mugavin.com and he will send you the proper forms. Right now it is possible for one driver to receive an extra $1700 in cash and prizes at years end. Don't hesitate to sign up as registered drivers also receive point bonuses.
.
The CMC celebrated it's first season this past weekend with a banquet at Competiton Karting in Lawrenceburg. After a nice dinner the 2010 drivers were honored with awards that Lawrenceburg Speedway helped provide. Then door prizes were given out thanks to Kim Moler of Moler Raceway Park, Derrick Davis and Rislone and from Al Carrier's S& A. Afterwards everyone dueled it out on the Go Kart track as a fun time was had by all. Thanks to Kyle Wainscoat for being the voice of the CMC. For pictures provided by Steve Alcorn please visit our Facebook Page.

The first weekend of racing is quickly approaching as the season kicks off Friday March 18th at Moler Raceway Park then heads across the river to Florence Speedway for the spring 50 on March 19th. For the complete 77 race schedule visit www.cincinnatimodifiedchampionship.com.

Thanks for all your hard work Shane. This is already a better points fund than most of our tracks have.

Thanks Brad for all you have done to support us. This can be as big as the Mod guys want it to be. Ask people you deal with to be a part of it please. Hope to increase the point fund and pay further on back. Also please let your tracks know that you are glad they are part of it and it enters into your decision on where to race. With Gas prices up you can run for our championship without racking up a huge amount of miles. Bowman Enterprise has added $100 in product from them to the Rookie of the year.

Definitely a group effort Chris Luckey handles all web related items and many of the sponsors are involved in getting this going. We were lucky for the banquet to have Kyle Wainscott do announcing and Steve Alcorn handle photography. Some people have offered help but don't wish to be identified. Points are tallied by several people so they can be cross referenced to check for errors. Any big items like expansion etc will be voted on. Hopes are that eventually there is a board that is voted on. Any help is greatly appreciated. We are in most need of people at the tracks who can report info back as it is impossible to be at all of the races. We would like to eventually have instant results posted via Facebook page/ twitter etc. There is no way one person could do all of this. With more people we feel like we could do even more.
