After time trials and four exciting heat races, the top 16 cars have been locked into the field for the $5000 to win FASTRAK Racing Series event at Modoc Speedway. The racers had a smooth surface on which to compete and the fans were treated to some exciting action.
Jonathan Davenport, in the Travis Blackwell entry, set fast time with a lap of 17.056. Brandon Umberger, Lee Cooper, and Parker Herring joined Davenport as heat race winners. Umberger and Lee Cooper will start on the front row as they led groups 1 and 2 respectively. Herring and Davenport will make up the 2nd row.
