View Full Version : I80 Speedway Spring Thaw Starts the 2011 Season on April 1&2

The 2011 season at I-80 Speedway starts Friday, April 1 with the SLMR racing for $1000 to win. Pro Ams will join the lineup for a non points weekly show paying $500 to win and Modifieds will run qualifying races for the Saturday, April 2 show. Pit Gates open at 4 p.m. and grandstands at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m., and the first green flag of the season drops at 7:00 p.m. Pit passes are $20 with a NASCAR license, $30 without. Entry fee for Modifieds is $40 and no entry fee for SLMR and Pro Ams. Practice also will be held for all classes.



The second action packed night will feature the stars of the MLRA battling it out for $3000 to win, Modifieds racing for $2000 to win, and B Mods and Hobby Stocks racing for $500 to win. Pit gates open at 3:00 p.m. and grandstands open at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps start at 5:30 p.m., and racing action is underway at 5:55 p.m. Adult grandstand tickets are $20, juniors 6-15 are $5 and 5 and under are free. Pit passes are $20 with a NASCAR license, $30 without. Entry fee is $20 for Hobby Stocks, and there is no entry fee for B Mods. MLRA will collect their entry fee.


No NASCAR or IMCA license is required for either of these nights, but a pit pass is only $20 with a NASCAR license.
