Do you move the 5th coil closer to the rear end to gain traction ?
I've read closer and been told opposite

The farther out you put it, the "lighter" it makes the front. This means more traction is available, but you may not be able to drive around corners on tracks where you are on the gas pretty good while the wheel is turned. The car will likely push.

The spring rate is more a timing device. A stiffer spring gives a quicker load to the rear tires, but will shock them if you are not real smooth with the throttle.

closer to rear more instant traction farther out traction later , closer to the rear is better on shorter tracks because of more instant traction. longer momentum tracks move it forward.

corner exit car wants to step out

More information needed, but it sounds like you may just be loose on exit and barking up the wrong tree.

There is a difference between stepping out and sliding out because you are lighting up the tires.
