Schlenk Prepares to Defend UMP DIRTcar National Championship!

Jackson Michigan, (03/17/11)

The 2010 UMP DIRTcar Late Model National Champion Rusty Schlenk, and his Race Team, Rusty Schlenk Racing, are hard at work putting the final touches on the new cars, and getting everything else organized for the 2011 Racing Season. "We've got a ton of things going on right now, and these last few months have been really crazy. We've stepped up our program in several areas. We'll be using the Lazer Chassis' this year, and we are really excited about that. The cars and components are some of the nicest in the industry, and Jim Berheisel's years of experience as a driver, as well as a chassis builder, really shows in his latest products. The new cars are beautiful! The fabrication, fit and finish, and the overall construction of the cars is incredible. There's not one single thing about the new cars we don't like, and I can't wait to drive a race car of this caliber", stated the Young and Talented National Champion, via telephone conversation, from his Weston, Ohio home. Also new for 2011 is the latest Rusty Schlenk Racing Merchandise, a State of the Art Web Site, and the use of a new GoPro "in car" Video Camera. " We've got some really neat stuff this year. The Championship T-Shirts and Hoodies, two different Clocks, Mini Door Panels, 1/24 and 1/64 Die Cast cars, and a coupe different choices for the Ladies and Kids", stated Rusty's Beautiful Wife Danie Schlenk, who will manage the Souvenir and Apparel sales in 2011. "It's really cool for all Rusty's fans. The Championship Shirts are awesome and just about everyone who's bought anything has commented on how much they like them, and we're super happy about that. In the end that's what this whole deal is about, the fans! Without them, none of this would be possible". The All New www.rustyschlenkracing.com is currently "Under Construction" and is set to be up and running in the next couple weeks. The New Web Site is being designed by Scott Porter of Black Swamp Media Group, and will implement all of the latest Social Media Outlets, as well as the standard written copy, video and audio options. More information about Black Swamp Media Group can be found here: http://www.blackswampgraphics.com/ .

Weather permitting, Rusty Schlenk Racing will make it's 2011 debut at Belle-Clair Speedway, in Belleville, Illinois on Friday Night, March 18. The track known as "Belle Vegas" will kick it's 2011 season off with the "Shamrock 40" UMP DIRTcar Late Model Feature Event paying $1500 to win. For all things Belle-Clair Speedway, check out their web site here: http://www.belleclairspeedway.com/ Then on Saturday Night, March 19 Team RSR will move on the Historic Brownstown Speedway, in Brownstown, Indiana, for their Season Opener. Rusty Schlenk is the Defending Champion of Brownstown's opening event. "We've been really good at Brownstown the last couple times, and we're going back there with a ton of confidence. It will be business as usual for us, back to the grind, trying to Win races, and get the UMP points. We're super excited about getting 2011 started", stated the 2010 UMP National Champion, this time from his Jackson, Michigan Race Shop. Rusty himself wanted to personally say "I want everyone to know I appreciate every bit of help I've ever got, from the very beginning, it's all got me to where I am today, and I couldn't have done any of it without each and every one of you. Hopefully, I can give back to each one of them by Winning Races and Championships, and treating people with respect, because I'm truly grateful.
