Ponderosa Speedway Vandalized; Practice Dates To Be Announced

Junction City, KY- March 20, 2011- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Brandon Hardgrove was notified by track owner Donnie Sullivan and family that the track known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” was vandalized over the weekend, thus the upcoming test and tune practice scheduled for Friday March 25 has been cancelled.

Among things that were vandalized at the track include the grader, track lights, electrical wiring, and track caution lights. No money amount of the total damage has been released, but activities at the 3/8 mile D-shaped clay oval are on hold until further notice until the damage can be repaired.

When activities are set to resume at Ponderosa Speedway, a press release will be put out to inform the racers and fans of when racing will be set to begin. The track sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused to racers and fans alike.

Ponderosa Speedway is located at 365 Phillips Lane on the Boyle/Lincoln County border, outside of Junction City, KY, just minutes from Danville, KY. Brandon Hardgrove is the track promoter and will present dirt track sports entertainment on Friday evenings throughout the 2011 race season.
