3rd Annual GVS Crate Nationals – March 24-26!
Green Valley Speedway officials gear up for this weekends’ 3rd installment of the GVS Crate Nationals. This years’ edition of the race will see a new format that will allow drivers the opportunity at more chances for taking home some cash.
Action starts on Thursday March 24th featuring the first of three $2,000 to win Crate Late Model features as well as open practice for all other divisions.
On Friday night another $2,000 to win Crate Late Model feature will take place along with a $750 to win Outlaw Thunder feature, and $1,000 to win Sportsman/LLM feature event. Also the Kajun Mini Stock Association cars will run their qualifying heat races and consolation race as they gear up for their $2,000 to win feature and $1,000 to win Non-Qualifier’s race on Saturday.
Then on Saturday yet another $2,000 to win Crate Late Model feature will take place. After the third Crate Late Model feature on Saturday the top 12 drivers in points from the three features will be placed in to the “King Of Crates” race which will pay the winner $5,000. Also on Saturday the Outlaw Thunder division will see another feature event paying $1,000 to win and the Sportsman/LLM will see their second feature of the weekend paying $1,500. The Kajun Mini Stocks will also run their $2,000 to win feature event and $1,000 Non-Qualifier’s race on Saturday as well.
