This past Saturday Lancaster Speedway held Open House to all drivers and fans, over 78 drivers came out and practice on the Half Mile. 4 Super Late Models came in to practice for the up coming Carolina Clash race which will be held this Saturday Night March 26th. Track record holder Ross Bailes was among the drivers practicing for the the up and coming race, Nascar Legend Terry Labonte son Justin Labonte was also on hand to turn in some laps. 3 local stand out Limited Late Model drivers will be testing the Carolina Clash Series this year, running for Rookie Of The Year in the Carolina Clash will be Chad Paxton and Mike Huey, Paxton was at Lancaster Speedway this past Saturday turning in some practice laps with his Super Late Model. Another driver who will be joining them will be Randy Smith. The NDRA Crate Late Models will be another competitive Division this year with Timbo Mangum and Brandy Baker headlining the Division, moving up from the Super Street Division will be Downtown Michael Brown who will be looking to steal a few wins from the fan favorites Timbo Mangum and Brandy Baker. Super Street will be another highly competitive division with Brandy Baker headling this division, Jody Bigham, Joey Engelbrecht, Mike Carnevale and many more will be looking to steal a few wins for the Gambler this year. Crate Sportsman will be Lancaster Speedway most highly competitive division this year with Timbo Mangum, Dustin Sweatt, Kenny Ramsey, Travis Payne, Junior Stacks, Michael Hough, 2nd year driver Dillon Crook and many more looking to catch a few wins this year. Pure Street will be always competitive just like past years with Steve Hinson headlining the division, James Marion, Barry Mathis, Jesse & Landon Carson and the crowd favorite the only truck at the track that is racing the John Deere truck of Matt Harris and many more will be looking to steal a win from Hinson this year. Young Guns will feature Josh Langley, Andrew Baker, Brandan Blackmon, Brady Kirk, J.T. Gordon and a host of other drivers looking to win there 1st championship and some there 1st wins of there career to. The Vintage Division became a fan favorite last year with the Ford vs Chevy rivalry going on but this year we will add a Dodge to the mix to make it more interesting, you got the Helms gang, you got Kenneth Desse and Chris Fincher, you got the Crump Brothers, you Rocky Price in perhaps the oldest car out there, and you got David Miller in the only Dodge in the field, then you got Marty Spittle in his purple mustang and many more drivers also. Stock 4 Chase Wilson looked fastest this past Saturday at practice but keep your eye on a few other drivers that will be looking to steal a win from Wilson this year, Dylan Terlinde, Andy Helms, David Pate, Chase Ray and many more will be looking to take home a win this year to.
