Billy Moyer Jr. Scores Top 5 in WoO Action; Brownstown Next

Batesville, Arkansas (03/23/11) –Billy Moyer Jr. entered the World of Outlaw Super Late Model sanctioned Cash Cow 100 over the weekend in his #21jr Henderson Motorsports/Car City/Imperial Motors/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Bullock Racing Engine Super Late Model and came away with a career performance.

Billy Moyer Jr. took part in the first night of the 1st Annual Cash Cow 100 on Friday night as 49 of the nation's best drivers entered the World of Outlaws sanctioned events. In time trials, Billy would battle a tricky track, and as a result would start seventh in the first heat. For the first half of the heat, Moyer Jr. would find himself mired in traffic in the seventh position before he slowly started making up ground on the front runners. He would catch a big break with two laps remaining when second place Dan Schlieper slowed with a flat tire. At the time of the caution, Moyer Jr. was running just outside a transfer spot, but on the ensuing restart he would drive past Earl Pearson Jr. for the fourth and final transfer position. Billy would go onto hold onto the final transfer spot and will start in the 13th position in Saturday night's $20,000 to win/100 lap feature.

On Saturday night the finale for the 1st Annual Cash Cow 100 was held, and it would prove to be a huge night for Billy. After starting the feature in the 13th position, he began a march to the front of the pack as he worked into the top five by lap twenty. Ten laps later he would move up to the fourth position as he began to reel in his Dad for the third spot. By the race's midway point, Moyer Jr. worked up to as high as the third position before losing a few spots on a late race restart. After a great battle with Mike Marlar, he would rebound late in the event to score a strong fourth place finish behind event winner, Darrell Lanigan, Will Vaught, and Billy Moyer.
