Columbus, MS (March 23, 2011)- Scott Creel and Voodoo Motorsports kicked off its 2011 “Racing For A Match” campaign Saturday afternoon prior to the World of Outlaws race at Columbus Speedway. For the event, Scott and Voodoo Motorsports hosted a Be The Match bone marrow donor registry drive. The great participation from the fans, as well as other drivers, made the drive a success. Photos from Saturday are posted on the Voo-Doo Motorsports Facebook Page.
Be The Match is operated by the National Marrow Donor Program. Be The Match helps find donors for patients who cannot find a match in their own families. Only thirty percent of patients needing a marrow transplant find matches in their family. The other seventy percent rely on the Be The Match registry to find a donor.
