Test N' Tune and Opening Night has been pushed back due to wet weather delaying track work from being done. Test N' Tune is now Saturday, April 16th with Opening Night Friday, April 22nd.
“We are anxious to get the season started just like everyone else, but unfortunately the weather has just not cooperated with us so far”, stated Track President T. J. Layne. “It will take several days of dry weather to get the place dried out enough to bring the heavy equipment out. Once it dries out, we have a lot of work to do on not just the track surface, but also on the numerous facility upgrades we have planned including the installation of new aluminum bleachers. We want everything to be ready and in top shape when we open the gates, so as much as we hate to do it, there’s really no way around pushing things back.”
