can you guys tell me what the compression is (psi) on sealed 602 crate engine & what heads they come with ? i want to know what it would take to duplicate one and what tech proceedures that it would take to keep a home built engine equal with a factory sealed 602 .= for those of us that would like to use the junk we have laying around to try and join with the lesser divisions (like a street stock or a b-mod) ..... ive got a half dozen good ol 350's out back , what would it take to get one of those up to par with g.m's version of the 602 crate unit ?

im guessing it's just a basic stock 350 lower assembly (with a 10:1 set of piston) , a set of vortech heads & a mild cam (i need that part number as well) . am i right ? i just dont know what cc heads they use and what it makes for compression . surely some of you guys know what im trying to find out . hook a brother up . we dont have many around our area ..... but i want to try and get it to catch onn . i want to copy one . or make one of equal horsepower at a lesser cost (say ---- with 305 heads or something) . i dont have a dyno . i do have a compression tester . i just need the readings . thanks in advance

Ours pumped at 165 today, but as mentioned in the attached thread, it was after the lifters had bled down.
