I-80 Speedway is opening their 2011 tonight (Friday, April 1) with the night one of the Spring Meltdown. There will be a complete program for SLMR Late Models and ProAms as well as qualifying for A Mods. There will also be an Open Practice for all classes that want ot attend. Pit Pass is required to practice. No Licenses or Sanctioning. Pits open at 4 pm Grandstands at 5:30 with racing at 7pm.
Tomorrow night Saturday, April 2 will be night 2 of the Spring Meltdown featuring MLRA Late Models racing for $3,000 to win and $400 to start. The winner will be guaranteed a starting spot in the July 21-23 Silver Dollar Nationals paying $25,000 to win.
Also there will be a complete program for Hobby Stocks and B-Mods as well as features for A Mods paying $2,000 to win. Pit Gate opens at 3pm, Grandstands at 4:30 with racing at 5:55pm.
