engine height

I remember reading this on a forum somewhere but cant find it now. When running a heavier motor (30-35#), should it be mounted higher or lower assuming the left to right location remains unchanged. Im thinking higher because most of the weight is low in the block(dart vs stock), but want to check.

Is a ¼” - 1/2” noticeable change on engine/tranny height?
