When people say .030 out for bump on RF, Do they mean .030 per inch of compression? .090 out for 3 inches or .030 for all 3 inches of compres.? I just checked my RF and here is what I have, 1 inch of travel = 0, 2 inches of travel = .015, 3 inches of travel = .042, and 4 inches of travel = .080 these are all toeing out. Is this all right ? any advise ? Thanks Chumba.

.015" - .020" / inch of travel. I know I rarely look at the 1" mark so that's probably where u are getting the .030" spec (from the 2" mark). if i'm around .030" or less at 2", good to go.

What about the .080 out at 4 inches of travel is that too much?

your numbers look near perfect in my opinion. .080" total would be an average of .020"/in.travel, which happens to be at the upper end of ideal. you want to watch the 2" mark because that is a reasonable amount of travel you will have down the straights and the first stages of corner entry which is where too much bump will be noticed the most. once your rf is planted in the corner and maxed out on travel, other forces take over and numb you to the affects of bump steer and it is actually helping you counter-steer.
As to whether .080" bump is too much at 4"? i certainly don't think so. I would say more than .080" at 4" would still be acceptable as long as around .030" at 2" is maintained unless you are on a wicked rough track.....jmo
