Klint Byars Scores Biggest Career Win at Whynot Motorsports Park

Carrollton, Mississippi (04/12/11) –Klint Byars overcame a great battle with David Breazeale to pilot his #5 Southern Belle/K&K Motorsports/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine Super Late Model to his biggest career win in a Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned event on Saturday night.

Klint and K&K Motorsports continued what has been a dream start to the 2011 season on Saturday night, as he staged an incredible battle with David Breazeale to claim his first ever Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) win to the tune of $2,500 at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi).

Twenty-five Super Late Models entered the event, and Byars started the night by unofficially setting a new track record at the racy, clay oval. Via his qualifying effort he earned the pole starting position for the dash, which he would finish second to Breazeale. As a result, Klint started outside front row for the 50 lap feature, and at the drop of the green flag, the lead duo would begin a battle that would rage for the majority of the caution-free event. Byars and Breazeale would swap the lead close to ten times before Byars inched ahead for good on lap 38 and went on to claim the biggest win of his career, which was his second overall of the season. Breazeale, Steve Bryan, Jeremy Broadus, and Rodney Wing rounded out the final top five. With the win Klint now leads the tour' standings. Full results are available at www.StateSeries.com.

Byars will once again go into battle this weekend with the MSCCS tour as they invade the 1/4 mile oval at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Saturday night, April 16th for a $2,500 to win event. For more information, please visit www.GreenvilleSpeedway.net and www.StateSeries.com .
