Bub McCool Claims Second Win of 2011; Commonwealth 100 Next

Vicksburg, MS (04/12/11) – On Friday night at Duck River Speedway, Bub McCool started the night by setting a new track record and then proceeded to decimate the field in his #57J McCool Logging/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Jay (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)ens Racing Engine Super Late Model as he claimed his second win of 2011.

On his way to Indiana for Saturday's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event, Bub decided to make a detour through Tennessee for a $3,000 to win, Tennessee Super Series event at Duck River Speedway (Wheel, Tennessee) on Friday night. The event saw a stout field of 41 cars entered, and Bub started the event with a bang by lowering the track record to a 12.494 to earn the pole position for the feature. In the main event, Bub would drive away from the lead as he led all 40 laps of the event claiming the convincing win over Chris Wall and Tim Busha. The win was his second of the season.

Fresh off Friday night's win in Tennessee, Bub rolled into Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) for the LOLMDS-sanctioned, 14th Annual Ice Breaker. Forty-nine Super Late Models entered the event, and for the second night in a row, McCool would earn the pole position for the feature event. Early in the event Bub would set the pace as he led the first six laps before the handling on his car began to go fade. He would still manage to race his way to seventh place finish against a talent-laden field of competitors. Full results are available at www.LucasDirt.com .
