i am trying to figure out how to get some more camber in the front of a 2000 vw mini. it has the steering knuckle that sort of clamps around the bottom of the stut as opposed to the 2 bolts that often hold the strut, so there is no way to elongate the holes or use smaller bolts to achieve camber at the knuckle. i've seen different cars with this type of mount so am thinking somebody must know how to get more camber. the top of the strut is moved over but really, it cant be moved far enough to make enough camber. looking for 1 3/4" on the rf.
anyone worked with this type of set-up and found some way to add some more camber?

can you just, insead of moving the bottom, make a plate and move the top of the strut inward or bend the strut top in. im sure some company out there makes a cmber plate for them? not sure what you have for room but thats what w do on the toyota. sticking the bottom further out just puts the tire out out in harms way. not sure how your is set up but just an idea.
