CAM Timing

IS there a source that shows the CAM timing vs the amount shaved off a stock head? As an example if you take 0.150” off a stock head how much does the CAM timing retard with a stock CAM gear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. CJ

Everything I have read says 2 degrees for every 50k. IE 150k=6 degrees of cam timing.

Too many variables. Cam profile also affects how much to advance. The only accurate way to determine advance is to degree the cam.
