Track Sponsors and Supporters Announced for 2011 at Bluegrass Speedway

Bardstown, KY- April 18, 2011- Bluegrass Speedway track promoters David and Anita Ferrell would like to announce and recognize those businesses and companies that have partnered with Bluegrass Speedway as a track sponsor and/or supporter for the 2011 racing season.

44 Auto Mart of Bardstown will serve as the official sponsor of the Super Late Model division and also serve as victory lane sponsor. Airport Road Salvage Yard in Junction City, KY is the official tow service and recovery vehicle provider for Bluegrass Speedway. Bandit Race Cars of Buffalo will be the official sponsor of UMP Modified time trials on the nights that the class will qualify. Cornett Thunder and Lightning Racing Engines of Somerset will be the official sponsor of the track’s marquee event, the Bluegrass Classic, on August 27. Country 100.9 MIKE FM of Lebanon will be the official sponsor of the UMP Modified division and will also serve as the official radio station of Bluegrass Speedway. Hoosier Tire South of Alcoa, TN is the official race tire of Bluegrass Speedway. O’Reilly Auto Parts will serve as the official auto parts retailer for Bluegrass Speedway. Quality Inn of Bardstown will be the official lodging center for race teams and race fans of Bluegrass Speedway. T and T Motorsports of Bardstown is the official all terrain vehicle supplier for Bluegrass Speedway. Wayne Bowen Racing Supply of Burgin is the official race parts vendor for Bluegrass Speedway.

Track sponsors and supporters also from the Nelson County area include Budweiser, distributed locally by Smith Brothers Distributing of Bardstown, Conway Heaton Automotive Center of Bardstown, Fort Knox Federal Credit Union of Bardstown (along with several locations in surrounding counties), Lee’s Famous Recipe of Bardstown, and Quick Care Oil Lube Express of Bardstown.

Other track sponsors and supporters include Campbell’s Heating and Air of Danville, Clayton Homes of Stanford in Stanford, Ferrell’s D&I Drywall and Insulation of Mount Washington, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series of Waycross, GA, MAC Metal Sales of Somerset, Trailer Parts and Sales of Lawrenceburg, and Thunder Cleaning Products.

After last weekend was rained out, Bluegrass Speedway will attempt to get its 2011 race campaign going this Saturday evening April 23 with a full program of racing for all four weekly divisions of competition.

Bluegrass Speedway is located at 2221 New Haven Road at the intersection of Kentucky Highway 31-E and exit 21 of the Martha Layne Collins (Bluegrass) Parkway. David and Anita Ferrell are the track promoters and present dirt track sports entertainment on Saturday evenings from mid-April through September.
