I'm looking at getting back into mods and it's been since 2008 and I ran a pierce car clamped. I liked it but I'm wondering if people are still running that set up on thier pierce's anymore.

Thanks

Some are running spring behind ,but most are still on the ole faithful Clamp. They have changed the front end geometry a little and seem to be dominating the front of the pack again at longer lap races so far this year what little they have ran. Look for some win numbers on this chassis to increase this year. Especially at big shows. .....;).........

What have they done on the front end geometry? I have the older style set up. I was going to switch to the spring behind deal but was kind of talked out of it.

spring behind is pretty hit and miss for the most part. clamped up is more reliable i guess you would say. A lot easier to mess with. jmo. weight jack location has been relocated...a frames also switched up a bit..

You will still find early cars of the like that are still winning races on the original deal. Kinda like railroad tracks, old design thats still functional and don't need much improvement.
