PRO Dirt Car Series Alabama Double Header This Weekend

Columbus, Mississippi (04/26/11) – The P.R.O. Dirt Car Series Super Late Model tour will officially open its 2011 season this weekend, April 29th-30th, with a double header in Sweet Home Alabama at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) and Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama).

After a successful first season in 2010, the P.R.O. Dirt Car Series is eager to open the 2011 campaign this weekend. A talented field of drivers is taking shape with several competitors already indicating their intent to take part in the weekend including Rick Rickman, Brian Rickman, Bradley Price, Johnny Stokes, Anthony Burroughs, Dean Carpenter, Mark Dodson, Jay Burchfield, Kelly Hanvey, Josh Putnam, Eric Cooley, Daniel Miller, Stacy Caldwell, Chase Washington, Mark Mears, Jason Milam, Ray Mauldin, Steve Putnam, Chad Winkles, Jamie Flannigan, Hunter Carroll, and many more.

The weekend opens on Friday, April 29th at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) with a $2,000 to win/$150 to start event at the racy, 1/4 mile oval. Joining the Super Late Models on the card will be Late Model Stocks ($500 To Win), Modified Street ($250 To Win), and Mini Stocks ($250 To Win). The driver's meeting is at 7:15pm with racing action at 8:00pm. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults with kids 12 & under free. Saturday, April 30th will see the tour making its debut at Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama) with a $2,000 to win/$150 to start event. Both of the P.R.O races this weekend will be held at North Alabama Speedway >The race scheduled for Saturday at Moulton has been canceled due to no electricity and instead will be held at North Alabama.
