Ronny Lee Hollingsworth Alabama Double Shot This Weekend
Northport, Alabama (04/28/11) – After scoring a third place finish last weekend at Whynot Motorsports Park, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth will return to action this weekend with a double header at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama)
After two weeks of no racing action, Ronny Lee was back in the driver's seat of the #18 Flynn Motorsports entry at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) last Saturday night for a $2,500 to win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) event. A talented field of thirty-six Super Late Models entered the event, and Hollingsworth fell just short of locking into the feature via time trials, and as a result was forced to run a b-main, which he won to lock into the 12th starting spot for the main event. In the feature, he would mount a great charge through the field, and by the time that the checkered flag dropped on 50 lap feature, he was credited with a third place finish behind race winner, Chris Wall, and Bub McCool. This weekend, April 29th-30th, Ronny Lee will take his #18 Flynn Motorsports/Mastersbilt by Stuckey/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle in a pair of PRO Dirt Car Series Super Late Model events at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama).
