Jay Cardy Concludes 2010-2011 Australian Season

Noranda, Western Australia (04/29/11) – Jay Cardy piloted his #52J Cardy Chassis/Draime Racing Engine Super Late Model for the final time in the 2010-2011 Australian racing season over the course of last weekend at Margaret River Speedway.

The past weekend found Cardy Motorsports entering their final events of the season at Margaret River Speedway (Margaret River, Western Australia), which also marked the final round of the PRO Dirt Late Model Series 2011 tour.
On Friday night, Jay started fourth in the first heat before scoring a third place finish, and in the second heat, Cardy started fifth and finished in fifth after overcoming an early race crash. Via his heat race performances, Cardy started seventh in the night's main event and advanced to a sixth place finish in the final running order.

The team's plans for Saturday night would ultimately be nixed as rain arrived shortly after the completion of Friday night's program and persisted throughout the night forcing the balance of the event to be canceled.

Jay finished 3rd in the final Pro Dirt Late Model Series and 4th in the Motorplex Championship points, which overall was a good result for the whole season. The team will now focus on next season and winning back the Motorplex Championship and winning the Pro Dirt Series Championship.
