well stevo since you know every thing about everybodys stuff then you should know thay usualy when headers are glowing red they have to much fuel in the motor and it is burning in the headers not because someone is selling cut fuel. what kind of fuel do you run in your racecar?

Don't think so look at the cup cars when they have too much fuel flames comes out of pipes. But the cut gas as you call it will make it red hot, you might sell gas ? If you get sealed drum you know its not cut my racecar susposed to run pump gas,but crate will not run with them with it .

Where can you get gas checked at? I've got about 6 gallons left and bought it at the track so if it has been cut they did it there. I beleave my motor blew up because this gas was making it run lean and something should be done about it.

glowing headers is lean condition or timing problem not too much fuel, the higher the octane the fuel is the slower it burns which keeps the engine cooler, cutting fuel will cause that problem but saying that is the probelm

fuel being to heavy such as to high of an octane or to rich causes the fuel to burn in the header. the cup cars are pouring raw fuel in their motors to slow them down that is the flame you see coming OUT the end of the end of the header not glowing red up in the pipes

whatever you say clayman just how long have you been racing? i've been at this deal a long time and dealt with some very good engine builders in my time say what you want too rich does not turn headers red

Seems funny that more than one on that fuel is having similar problems

if you want to check it pour some in a stirofoam cup,if it has regular gas in it, the regular will melt it , racing gas will not hurt it , got that straight from the sunoco man

Cut gas will also take the top of the piston off !

I tried the stirofoam cup and it didn't eat it up.
