Morgan Bagley Rolls to O'Reilly SUPR Win at USA Speedway
Longview, Texas (05/03/11) – Apparently somebody forgot to tell Morgan Bagley that rookies aren't supposed to win because for the second time in 2011 the young driver powered his #14m McMillan Motorsports/Rocket By Club 29 Super Late Model to another $2,000 win with the O'Reilly SUPR Super Late Model event at USA Speedway (Sterlington, Louisiana) on Friday night.
Morgan returned to the scene of his first Super Late Model win on Friday night at USA Speedway (Sterlington, Louisiana), and by the time that the checkered flag dropped on the main event he had earned his second career win and second career O'Reilly SUPR win. He started the night by starting second in his heat race, which he won to lock into the third starting spot for the main event. For the first part of the feature, Morgan would run in the third position. However, as the leaders caught lapped traffic, Bagley would motor past Timothy Culp and Kevin Sitton to take possession of the lead. He went on to claim the $2,000 win! Saturday night's scheduled O'Reilly SUPR Super Late Model event at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) was nixed by rain. Morgan continues to lead the O'Reilly SUPR Rookie of the Year standings and overall points.
Bagley will be back on the road with the O'Reilly SUPR tour this weekend, May 6th-7th with a double header in Louisiana. The first race of the weekend will be on Friday night at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) with a $2,000 to win event before moving on to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Saturday night for a $2,500 to win event.
