Clinton, TN (May 5th, 2011) The Southern Allstars 'King Of The Hill 50' scheduled for Saturday, May 14th at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, TN will be postponed until a later date due to storm damage at the track and throughout the region.

Track Promoters Dale Nelson and Lisa Weatherford have pushed back their opening night to May 28th with hopes of re-scheduling the SAS event until perhaps 4th of July weekend or at another mutually agreed upon date. "Our fans loved the SAS race here last year and were looking forward to the May 14th race this year but with all the damage done to the track during the recent storms and power lines still being repaired for several miles around, there's just no way we can be ready by next weekend" stated Lisa Weatherford. "We are hoping to get it re-scheduled soon."

"We regret having to make this announcement as we were looking forward to heading back to Clayhill but we are thankful no one was seriously injured around there and hope to get this race re-scheduled on a good date for everyone." stated Series Director Brad Byrd.

In the meantime, the next scheduled event is May 21st at Monty Morrow's Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee for the Johnson Coca-Cola Tennessee Memorial race paying $5,000 to win.
